Biätaren – A movie poster and a trailer

A project for Östra Grevie.

Role: Idea, manuscript, photography, graphic design, cut

The assignment: Create promotion material for a fictional movie.

Solution: I choose to create material for the fictional artistic movie “The Bee Eater”. I decided the movie was an artistic take on a revenge movie, and decided the primary visual object should be the bathtub. I photographed and filmed, and created a trailer and a poster.

Synopsis: Man is lying in bathtub. Bee stings man. Man takes revenge. Kills all bees. Apocalypse follows, since bees are an essential part of our ecological system. Twist: Revenging man does not care. He died in the bathtub.
